8.1 No new taxa are to be described and published in the Flora of Nepal. These must be published elsewhere in an appropriate widely distributed international journal (preferably the Edinburgh Journal of Botany or Japanese Journal of Botany) prior to their use in the Flora of Nepal, and should be included in a series of papers entitled “Flora of Nepal Notulae [series number]: [paper subject]”. Papers will be assigned a sequential series number and authors should contact the Editor-in-Chief at RBGE to be allocated a number. New combinations and nomina nova, etc. may be published in a Nomenclatural Novelties section which closely follows the Introduction to the Volume.
