11.1 For each recognized taxon only the most common/widespread Nepalese vernacular name is cited. Final decision on which Nepalese name will be cited are made by the Nepal National Coordination and Steering Committee. Nepalese vernacular names are written in both Nepali (Devanagri) script and English, and indices to these names are included at the back of each volume.
